Exploring GOA With My Best Friends

The recent trip to Goa with my best friends is by far the best drive of my life. Yes!!! The all time favorite destination for many - Goa - A paradise which is filled with palm trees swaying across the coastline of endless beaches with a gentle humid breeze.

I rate it the best because we've used almost all types of vehicles in this trip. We took a flight from Bangalore to Goa, rented a car to reach the Goa city, hired Bajaj Enticer bikes to roam around, took a boat ride, reached airport by an authentic Goan Bus (I don't think you would see that kind of bus anywhere else That's why I said Authentic) and again a flight back to Bangalore. Yes you got me - Air, Land & Water.

Our first day in Goa - Honestly we didn't have an idea of what to do. One of the french travelers advised us to hire some bikes and go wherever, the road is leading us to. In fact, that was a great idea which worked like a charm. Without knowing the destination, the ride we took launched us into different beautiful places and all of us were enthralled with the beauty of Goan Beaches across the coastline and the friendly nature of people in Goa.

Of course we did some crazy stunts too. Please don't miss to watch the photos attached towards the end of this blog.

It all started here. We were four in number. We hired two Bajaj Enticer bikes (Red and Black colored) near the Calangute Beach which costed us around Rs. 300 for a bike (Pretty cheap. Isn't it? )

Day 2 - We wanted to explore North Goa. Started our ride from Calangute Beach (Pic - Sudharsan with Navin)

It was a rough ride though, with not much of sceneries around. However we still enjoyed the ride, exchanging 'Hi's and 'Bye's with the foreign travelers exploring Goa.

@Aarambol Beach - The most beautiful beach of Goa, in my opinion. We enjoyed our ride here, across the coastline. The beach also paved way for us to perform some funny stunts (Attached towards the end of this blog)

This pic was taken on our way back from Aarombol Beach. The place was so beautiful surrounded by sandy mountains cut into pieces, to pave way for the travelers. We hanged out here for a while clicking some pictures.

Day 3 - We started exploring South Goa. This part of Goa has got a big and beautiful river running across the city. You can see an island right across the river. People use boat to travel from the island to the city, as there's no road connectivity.

This pic was taken - when all the naval commandos :-P were getting ready for a ride into the middle of the Indian Ocean

Best Part of our Trip - Banana Ride - The captain of banana ride just tilted us into the middle of the sea - Wow. I just cannot describe that feeling. Though it was scary at the start, we enjoyed to the T. Who wouldn't do,when floating in the middle of an ocean?

We para glided too.

This snap was captured at the most popular Saturday Market - Almost all the tourists in Goa were there in that Flea market, which happens only on Saturdays. One of the most happening places of Goa.

We just couldn't control our love for beaches - This picture was taken at a beach located closer to the Goa Airport - 3 Hours before our flight departure

We didn't want to go back, which you can easily see from the look of our faces. After 4 memorable days at Goa, we took our flight back to Bangalore :-(
